You. So. Much! I really needed this, and it was driving me nuts! By the way, on my machine (running OSX 10.6.6) it doesn't work to hold Option and then trying to right-click. The right-click simply doesn't do anything. But, the other way around it does work: Right click, and then press Option to change the options offered in the menu. Of course, the keyboard shortcut works best if you can remember that :-) Thanks again, I'm so happy to know this now. (I converted from Windows about 3 years ago, and the Finder is the one part of the Mac that I don't like. Merging directories on the Mac is another pain point...
